Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. – Matthew 28: 19-20 (NIV)

Mission to our community, our city, and our world is central to our identity at CCUPC, and we try to provide every age group and skill set with ways to be involved. Whether it is home renovations on the north side of Pittsburgh, helping members of a partner church make Christmas gifts for their loved ones, providing low-cost, gently-used clothing and baby items for those in need in our community, or sponsoring hot meals for children in Haiti, CCUPC tries to do our part for the Kingdom of God, both locally and abroad.

Anyone is welcome to join in one of our established projects. If you are looking for a place to be involved in mission, we would love to have you.

Our Mission Statement
To develop, coordinate, and oversee programs, activities, and events that lead us to the support of and involvement in partnership of Christ’s church in the local community and throughout the world.

This local mission project is one that continues throughout the year. With the donations of our congregation, we are able to give support to the Victim Outreach Intervention Center (VOICe) and The Lighthouse.
